Taxonomic contributions to the Turkey Rosaceae family with new genera (Aria, Hedlundia, Torminalis)

Öz

Sorbus is a genus belonging to the Rosaceae family, Amygdaloideae subfamily, and is an important genus with many taxa, hybrits, and garden forms. As a result of the integrated analyses carried out with molecular studies recently, it has been determined that the nomenclature of these taxa has been changed in the names of genus and species throughout the world, although they are not in scientific publications in our country. According to this data, Sorbus species in Turkey have been updated taxonomically, and as a result of recent studies, it has been observed that the genus names of some Sorbus species have been changed. The number of genera belonging to the Rosaceae family distributed in Turkey; While it increased from 35 to 38 with the newly added Aria (4 species), Sorbus (2 species), Torminalis (1 species) and Hedlundia (7 species), the number of species decreased by 3 due to the synonymous situation. In this study, Sorbus species in Turkey have been updated taxonomically, genus and species identification keys as well as photos of the species are given.

Türkiye Rosaceae familyasına yeni cinsler (Aria, Hedlundia, Torminalis) ile taksonomik katkılar

Öz

Sorbus cinsi, Rosaceae familyasının Amygdaloideae alt familyasına ait bir cins olup çok sayıda taksonu, sayısız hibritleri ve bahçe formları olan önemli bir cinstir. Son zamanlarda moleküler çalışmalar ile gerçekleştirilen entegre analizler neticesinde, bu taksonların isimlendirmeleri, ülkemizdeki bilimsel yayınlarda olmasa da dünya üzerinde cins ve tür isimlerinde değişikliğe gidildiği belirlenmiştir. Bu verilere göre Türkiye’deki Sorbus türleri taksonomik olarak güncellenmiş ve son yapılan çalışmalar neticesinde bazı Sorbus türlerinin cins isimlerinde değişikliğe gidildiği gözlenmiştir. Türkiye’de yayılış gösteren Rosaceae familyasına mensup cins sayısı; yeni eklenen Aria (4 tür), Sorbus (2 tür), Torminalis (1 tür) ve Hedlundia (7 tür) cinsleri ile 35’den 38’e yükselmiş iken, sinonim durumundan dolayı tür sayısı 3 azalmıştır. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’deki Sorbus türleri taksonomik olarak güncellenmiş, cins ve tür teşhis anahtarları yanında türlere ait fotoğraflar verilmiştir.
