Aim & Scope

The Turkish Journal of Biodiversity (Turk J Biod), founded in 2018, is a double blind peer-reviewed, international journal in Turkish and English. It is published electronically 2 times a year by the Ali Nihat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden Application and Research Center of Artvin Coruh University in collaboration with ULAKBIM. It publishes full-length original research papers related to biodiversity for a broad range of international scientists.

Turkish Journal of Biodiversity is a double blind peer-reviewed, journal for rapid publication of high quality papers on any aspect of systematic botany and zoology, with a preference for large taxonomic works such as monographs, floras, faunas, both living and fossil, revisions and evolutionary studies and descriptions of new taxa. All types of taxonomic papers are considered, including theories and methods of systematics and phylogeny, taxonomic monographs, history of botanical explorations,revisions and reviews, catalogues/checklists, biographies and bibliographies, identification guides, analysis of characters, phylogenetic studies and phytogeography, phylogenetic relationships and zoogeographical patterns of distribution, descriptions of taxa, typification and nomenclature.
